Sary Moussa
Sary Moussa weaves his work slowly, patiently, allowing for the textures for which it is known to take shape little by little. The Lebanon musician, sound designer, producer, and engineer, who is a fixture in Beirut’s experimental and underground music scene since 2008 – broke through with 2020’s Imbalance, released via Nicolas Jaar’s Other People label. Leaping from pensive, drone-driven music to dance floor electronica, Moussa’s work is as carefully crafted as it is evocative. Moussa will present his latest work The Wind, Again.
Charbel Haber
Charbel Haber is a Lebanese musician, composer, and visual artist whose work explores memory, decay, and the shifting identities of a region suspended between East and West. A leading figure in Lebanon’s experimental scene, he works across music, film, and performance, blending the personal with the political and the sonic with the spectral.
His practice often examines how histories—both personal and collective—echo through sound and image. Currently based between Beirut and Paris, Haber continues to expand his practice through international collaborations and residencies, including projects with the New Atlantis Orchestra, the Elektronmusikstudion (EMS) in Stockholm, the Groupe de Recherches Musicales (GRM) and Studio Tarek Atoui in Paris, the Cité Internationale des Arts, and the Onassis Foundation in Athens.
Sandra Kazlauskaitė
Sandra Kazlauskaite is a Lithuanian-born, London-based sound artist, researcher and DJ working across the disciplines of sound installation, music performance, as well as theory-led projects in auditory culture. Her work explores the relationship between sound, gender, and space, questioning the concepts of silence/silencing, gendered soundscapes as well as the production of everyday spaces. Embedded in the method of social listening, Sandra’s practice combines sound installation, graphic scores, field recording, experimental electronic music, and mixing, forming interventions that reflect on the socio-political dynamics of everyday life.
Sandra has exhibited and performed in the UK, Iceland, Lithuania, Norway, Germany and the United States. In 2018, she was awarded a PhD (funded by AHRC) at Goldsmiths for her practice-based project – ‘Expanded Aurality: Doing Sonic Feminism in the White Cube’. Sandra is a Senior Lecturer in Sound and Music Theory at University of Lincoln. She is also a part of a female and non-binary DJ collectives SISU and GUYZ.
